Glenshee Centre Snowsports Instructor Development and Personal Training Programme 2006/07 Winter Season
Glenshee Centre Snowsports operated by Willie & Sally Colville is organising and running full and part-time courses for Trainee and qualified ski instructors and coaches principally based at Glenshee but retaining the flexibility to chase the Scottish snow at the other snow resorts, and even overseas in the event of poor cover..
The objective for course attendance is for personal development and training in line with existing professional career qualifications organised by BASI and NGB.
The courses will appeal to enthusiasts and existing qualified personnel currently restricted to careers within the Home Nations but requiring dedicated time and opportunity to obtain continual professional development that will enable them to attend and achieve success in qualification courses now, almost exclusively run on the Continent.
The programme will concentrate on detailed aspects of All Mountain Skiing ability and the instruction elements necessary to achieve the standards for progressive professional qualification.
Regular access to BASI Instructors and Teachers along with NGB Performance Coaches will be built into the course work providing specific expert tuition, variety and external assessment.
